RE2 Nordic Program

The RE2 Nordic Program offers an opportunity for students from Glenwood through Silt to explore Nordic skiing, thanks to a grant from Share Winters Foundation.
 

What: The chance to learn Nordic Skiing on Fridays! Full day includes lunch from Dos Gringos, skiing, ski gear, and bus transportation to and from RE2 elementary schools.

When: Five consecutive Fridays from January 16 through February 13.

Who: Ages Kindergarten — 4th grade.

Where: AVSC Clubhouse in Aspen

Equipment: Equipment is provided.

Transportation: Free chaperoned buses from RE-2 and Glenwood locations

8:30 am Wamsley Elementary (Rifle)
8:38 am Graham Mesa Elementary (Rifle)
8:44 am Highland Elementary (Rifle)
8:55 am Cactus Valley Elementary (Silt)
9:07 am Elk Creek Elementary (New Castle)
9:13 am Kathry Senor Elementary (New Castle)
10:30 am Arrival at AVSC Clubhouse

Bus Return Drop-off Locations:

1:30 Depart AVSC Clubhouse with drop-off at same locations, ending with 3:30 pm drop off at Wamsley Elementary
