< Back AVSC FREESTYLE PROGRAMS

Team AVSC Freestyle programs focus teaching moguls, aerials, big air, terrain park and half-pipe techniques with an emphasis on safety, fundamental elements, skill development and competition preparation. Athletes build skills in a supportive team-oriented environment and can advance as far as their commitment and ability take them, up to the highest levels of national and international competition.

All Team AVSC Freestyle athletes will learn to set short and long term goals and gain developmental assets including our core values which will help them face any challenges as they grow both on and off the hill.

AVSC understands that if you live downvalley, you may not be able to take advantage of the after-school training the Club provides. The Freestyle coaching staff will work with athletes to make any Freestyle program pricing available on a weekend-only basis. For more details or any other Freestyle program questions, please contact Freestyle Program Director Eric Knight at (970) 205-5130.

Freestyle Trampoline Camp (Saturdays) Register Now!
This weekly camp will give athletes a chance to receive instruction once a week and keep working on progressions throughout June and July. At weekly sessions we will work on flexibility, core strength, Trampoline skills and ski jumping tricks with a focus on safety. This camp will be beneficial for athletes who have their own tramps to receive instruction and have a weekly plan for jumping that athletes can work on their own. AVSC Camps are also open to friends of AVSC athletes and is a great way to get started with us. Elana Chase will be coaching the camps. Ramp Camp Info:

The UOP is an incredible facility built for the US Team to train aerials year round. There are 6 jumps (from small to huge) into an aerated (bubbles to soften the water) pool and 3 Trampolines. Most skiers jump between 25-40 jumps per day! Our goal is to build a solid foundation of jumping skills, learn new tricks, and increase the level of consistency, confidence and safety while jumping. We have had very productive camps at the UOP and feel water ramping is the best value for your summer training dollars. An athlete could do all of our water ramp camps for the cost of 1 week at a commercial camp in Whistler BC. This is the fastest and safest way to improve jumping skills. We will stay in Condos / town homes located in Park City about 6 miles from the UOP. If any parents would like to join us or meet us there, give us a call. Price includes transportation, lodging, meals, coaching and UOP (water ramp use). Athletes will be expected to go to sleep and wake up at set times, expected to assist in keeping our condo clean and will have supervision at all times. If anyone will travel with parents we will adjust the price. To Travel with AVSC to Ramp camps, athletes must be 10 or older and well behaved.

Price includes Ramp Camp transportation, lodging, breakfast, dinner, coaching and Olympic Park use.
