Welcome to the 2009-2010 Season!!! Here are a few dates to keep in mind:
October 29th - J3 Parent Meeting (5:30 at the AVSC Clubhouse)
November 2nd-4th - AVSC Alpine Staff Training - Loveland
November 5th - J5 Devo and Comp dryland starts (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at the AVSC Clubhouse)
November 5th - New Parent and Athlete Meeting - If you are new to AVSC alpine this is the meeting to attend. Kids are welcome to join us. We will go over Athlete and Parent Manuals, dryland and competitions schedules, team travel policy, what to expect during a regular day of training/skiing, communication avenues etc. Parents who are not new to AVSC are also welcome, especially if they missed the first Alpine parent meeting.
November 6th - J3 tuning clinic (5:30 PM at the AVSC Clubhouse). Please bring your bench, tools and skis you want to practice on as this will be a hands on demonstration.
November 7th-8th - Age Class Preseason Loveland Camp 1
Age Group: J3 Only
Departure Date, Time and Place: Saturday, November 7th 7:00 AM from AVSC
Return Date, Time and Place: Sunday, November 8th around 5:00 PM at AVSC
Approximate Project Cost: $175 (includes lift tickets, lodging and transportation)

What to Bring: Slalom skis, poles, boots, helmet, goggles, warm ski clothing, workout gear (including good running shoes), bathing suit, water bottle, money for 5 meals and snacks, great attitude!

November 28th and 29th - Aspen Winternational - Women's World Cup
December 5th - The 7th Annual Winter Whiteout Gala at the Hotel Jerome. Our biggest fundraiser of the year come celebrate the Olympic year with AVSC and support our scholarship programs.
