2011 AVSC ABILITY CAMPS Rocky Mountain Division has F.I.S. racing before Christmas and we need to have adequate preparation to make progress in those early starts. It is a chance for new J2 racers to develop a FIS profile and older JI/JIIs to lower their points. We still look at spring as the time to peak, but need to be ready to compete with confidence in December at FIS & USSA competitions. It is important to confirm at least 1 week ahead to help us plan and manage costs. There are 15 training days with only one school day missed. I. LOVELAND When: October 26-30, 5 days & no school missed What: 3 days GS, 2 days SL, Free ski and gate drills Lodging: La Quinta Inn, Silverthorne, CO Cost: $650.00- Lifts, transportation, training, lodging Depart: 4PM - Tue,25th from AVSC Bring: Slalom & Giant Slalom equipment, Backpack, Water bottle, Conditioning clothes, Ski Tuning equipment. Remember food money for lunch & dinner.
II. LOVELAND When: Nov, 4-6 - one day school missed Where: Loveland What: Giant Slalom drills & gates Lodging: La Quinta Inn, Silverthorne Cost: $390.00 Depart: 6:30AM from the clubhouse Bring: Giant Slalom Skis and equipment + camp necessities listed in camp I. Remember food money.

LOVELAND SL When: NOVEMBER 12-13 Where: Loveland, Co What: SL Training - Gates & Drills Lodging: La Quinta Inn, Silverthorn, CO Cost: approx $290.00 Depart: 7:00 AM Saturday morning, Return Sun PM Bring: SL equipment, Backpack, Water bottle, tuning equipment, Work out clothes & shoes, winter clothes, food money.

LOVELAND When: NOVEMBER 19-23/ 5 DAYS - no missed school Where: Loveland, CO What: SL 2 days & GS 3 days training Lodging: La Quinta, Silverthorne, CO Cost: approx $700.00 Depart: 7AM - Saturday, Return 2PM Wednesday Bring: SL & equipment, Backpack, Water bottle, tuning equipment, Work out clothes & shoes, winter clothes, food money. There is no school missed and it is our last chance to get 5 continuous days training tech until Xmas.
